The Delicious Cicada watched as a clearish yellow fluid oozed from her wing. Hemolymph - the closest thing she had to blood.

It would have been greener if she had eaten more plants that week, but she wasn’t on her best guard when she caught the mantis’ glance.

And before the Delicious Cicada could flap her wings, it was way too late.
